This article describes how to configure custom job queue entries in collana shield within Business Central. Using this feature, separate screening jobs with individual filters and execution parameters can be defined for different entity types.
Navigate to custom jobs
- In Business Central, navigate to the collana shield Settings.
- Go to the Custom Job Queue Entry List.
All custom job queue entries are managed in this area.
Create a new job queue entry
A separate job queue entry can be created for each entity type.
- Select New Job.
- Select the required entity, for example:
- New Customer Job
- New Vendor Job
- New Contact Job
Example:
Selecting New Customer Job creates a new job queue entry for customer screening.
The new entry is then displayed in the list of custom jobs.
Edit a job queue entry
- Select the newly created job queue entry in the list.
- Navigate via Manage and Edit to open the job queue entry card.
All job-specific settings can be configured in the job queue entry card.
Configure basic settings
The following options are available in the job queue entry card:
- Define a meaningful description for the job
- Select an email group for sending screening results
Please note that the user whose user ID is assigned to the job queue entry must be authorized to send emails via the configured email account. - Configure additional execution settings such as schedules or recurrence patterns
These settings apply only to the selected job queue entry.
Activate the job and prepare filters
After completing all required settings:
- Activate the job by selecting Set Status to Ready.

Result
By using custom job queue entries, screenings in collana shield can be controlled precisely by entity type, filter criteria, and execution time. This allows different screening requirements to be implemented in a flexible and transparent way.
