Installation & First Steps

The collana shield app can be found and installed via the Extension Marketplace in BC.

Once the extension is successfully installed, you can see it in the list of Installed Extensions via the Extension Management. The collana shield Setup Wizard can be started from there.

As an alternative, you can also call up the setup wizard by using the search function in Business Central.

The wizard is started in the Actions menu:

First, the app can be activated and the validity period of the sanctions list checks can be set. Alternatively, this can also be done later via the collana shield Settings.

In the next step, a contact e-mail address is requested.

This completes the initial setup. Further configuration options can be found in the collana shield Settings.

! Attention !

A new permission set SHIELD PERMSET MAC is added with the installation of collana shield.

This permission set must be assigned to users who need access to customers, for example. Service principals must also be considered.
